We are looking for an associate epidemiologist to join the epidemiology team at Clarivate, in the UK or Europe (remote). The team consist of 40 epidemiologists located around the world (US, Canada, Europe, UK, India, Australia), specializing in descriptive epidemiology and forecasting.
About you
  • Master’s degree in Epidemiology or Public Health, or higher
  • Systematic literature review experience
  • SAS analysis skill
  • A strong methodological background in epidemiology
  • Familiar with MS Office including MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Would be great if you also had
  • Experience with client interaction
  • Experience analysing large data sets
  • Claims data analysis experience in SQL and/or Python
  • Oncology experience
  • RWD experience
What will you be doing in this role?
  • As an Epidemiologist, you will be responsible for conducting analytical research to support customers' needs including performing fully documented systematic reviews of both published and grey literature on the epidemiology of assigned diseases and their risk factors to estimate incidence/prevalence over a 10–20-year period.
  • Conduct research using online grey literature datasets such as NHANES, HCUP, cancer registries, government survey data, and other resources to summarize current information on prevalence, and to forecast numbers for a variety of diseases; and suggest the use of proxy data sources or develop imputation or extrapolation models when country-specific sources are not available.
  • You will also support other programs and units within Company, for instance, by helping to maintain and enhance a sources database and by contributing to new products and proprietary consulting projects globally.

Hours of Work
This role is 40 hours per week EU hours. This is a full-time permanent role and can be remote within Spain.
